Job Summary:
The Benefits Administrator will be responsible for the administration and management of employee benefits programs. This includes managing enrollments, answering employee inquiries, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Benefits Administrator will work closely with other members of the human resources team and must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with employees, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits
- Manage employee records related to benefits enrollment, changes in benefits, and other relevant information
- Conduct benefits orientations for new employees
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to employee benefits
- Analyze benefits data to identify trends and make recommendations for changes or improvements to benefits programs
- Address employee inquiries and concerns related to benefits programs, including resolving claims issues and handling appeals
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers to ensure that employee benefits programs are running smoothly
- Work with other members of the HR team to ensure that employee benefits programs are effectively integrated with other HR programs and initiatives
- Stay current with changes in regulations and best practices related to employee benefits

Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in benefits administration or a related field
- Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to employee benefits
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Customer service oriented with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- Experience using HR information systems (HRIS) and other software programs to manage and analyze benefits data
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances
