DEIB Officer

The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Officer aims to fight for equal treatment and access to services, reduce discrimination within the workplace, promote positive attitudes, and increase employees’ sense of belonging and inclusion.

Salary range: $46,000 - 57,000Gross salary range estimation based on US salary benchmark data collected in 2022

Key Responsibilities

Provides an efficient, effective, consistent, and customer-focused DEIB administration and support service to managers and staff
Analyze and assess company-wide diversity metrics and develop reports to monitor progress towards DEI goals
Collaborate with different departments to identify areas for improvement and to implement effective diversity, equity and inclusion strategies
Keep up-to-date with trends and best practices in the DEI field and provide recommendations on new initiatives and programs

Job Description Template: Benefits Administrator

The DEI Officer will work closely with other stakeholders to ensure the company's commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion is met.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior DEI Officer in the development and implementation of DEI programs and initiatives
  • Collaborate with different departments to identify areas for improvement and to implement effective diversity, equity and inclusion strategies
  • Analyze and assess company-wide diversity metrics and develop reports to monitor progress towards DEI goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in diversity, equity and inclusion or human resources
  • Familiarity with relevant diversity, equity and inclusion policies, regulations and best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with employees and stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience working in a large, global organization
  • Professional certification in DEI or related field
